OUR FOUNDER
Hi I am Lucy, the founder of The Liquid Education Studio.
Since the moment I put an apron on when I was 14 and started work in a greasy spoons, I have loved hospitality. The food (not at the greasy spoons), wine, cocktails, the energy, the atmosphere and the passion that oozes from the people driving venues and those supporting the industry is compelling. It was a natural fit when I discovered that I could actually work and learn all about wine and spirits and have a career in the drinks industry. One that has seen me work in retail, for a wholesaler and the global leading luxury brand owner, Moët Hennessy, in various roles in training and education and most recently global education strategy and course development.

The Liquid Education Studio has been born out of a passion for learning and development and supporting people to excel in their careers with knowledge and becoming confident storytellers.
Today’s workplace can be full of pressure, to perform, to be ‘experts’, to deliver, but do we take the time to develop ourselves and dedicate ourselves to learning which will in fact support all of those goals? I have often found ‘learning’ drops down the to-list, unless we put time aside for it and have support, encouragement and structure. That’s where I come in. I help you or your team with dedicated time and coach them to work on their skills that I have been honing and studying for the last nearly 20 years. Drinks knowledge, education strategy and upskilling.
Whether you need help with your education strategy to implement or develop a true learning culture, you want to perform better in your presentations or want to emotionally connect to your audience when selling (the secret there is to storytell), I can help.

As a Wine Trainer and then later Champagne Ambassador, since 2013, I have taught thousands of people about drinks, hosted many wine and champagne dinners, tastings and events with people from all over the world. When I moved to the Moët Hennessy Global Academy to run their Spirits Education team, writing the Spirits Education Strategy and rolling it out, I presented at many corporate meetings globally, selling in different campaigns to senior people successfully. I have trained people all over the world how to tell compelling and powerful stories for selling and I have learned so much from all of this experience.
This is where the Liquid Education Studio supports businesses and individuals, I want to help people to be more confident in their every day work/ meetings and to land that big deal using crystal clear communication and the art of storytelling. Because I knew it from day one and I believe it more than ever, stories sell wine and spirits. Stories are how we connect and stories help us to drive business. We need the skills and know-how to craft and use them powerfully and strategically. Something I am deeply passionate about.
